Everyone is the backing for their own currency system, it's called "Reputation", but it has been made illegal. YOU are illegal. It's just that, we don't realize it but people resident in the US are essentially prohibited from using their own reputation as their own base currency and providing liquity for e.g. MarcusCoin to the local exchange. Various MSB and Securities laws and IP laws have surreptitiously made this possible future, illegal.
