I have a sage bush out front I planted 5 years ago. Today my younger daughter made a sage bundle which is cool as heck. We were discussing sage bundles and she says she likes them and keeps some in her room to burn. 

Smoking sage is an old thing I guess. Some people do it for various spiritual reasons. In this family we are Christian so we know sage smoke holds no special powers. Demons must follow commands given in the name of Christ so we are not dependent on things like plant smoke.

Summer, my daughter, mentioned that these sage bundles cost 3 or 5 dollars. I asked her to try and make one and she did. It took about 20 seconds or maybe a few minutes. At that rate, we figured her time was worth around $350 per hour if she is making sage bundles.

I think it needs to dry before we smoke it, so the bundle is on my desk drying. We check it every day. At some point we'll smoke it and see how it works out.
